Transport Club
In our after-school (Aspace) Transport Club we provide our little learners with some great train sets and props so they can create their very own mini railway scenery and tracks. They will have a fun-fueled hour where they let their imaginations run riot!
Children aged
3 to 7 yearsUsing role-play and building skills our patrolling teacher 'station masters' create an engaging, hands-on environment where children take control of their favourite trains or areas, while learning vital information about motion, precision, structure and planning. As they become more confident, our budding train drivers will learn some safety rules before buckling-down to some serious racing. Children will be able to 'drive' their trains around the race-track, build and manage a railroad, or even work on the construction of the surrounding village and pedestrian areas.
Our Transport club takes the children on a journey from road to landing strip, station to sea, and through rolling countryside. This is a class that quenches children's thirst for a great balance of creative and experimental fun!
Using great kinaesthetic/tactile learning materials improves children's large and small motor skills, and helps them learn to problem solve.
