Course Description

As a lead up to Christmas, specialist musician, composer and conductor André Lousada designs and leads a brand new musical course; Choir - Kokomo's Christmas Carol.

Each lesson, the children will be conducted as a full orchestral choir, learning Christmas classics that are sung and enjoyed every year. The tradition of gathering together at Christmas and performing as an ensemble is something special for the children to enjoy, performing songs such as 'Jingle Bells', 'We Wish You a Merry Christmas' and 'Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer."

André's musical experience extends to all over the globe, conducting orchestras in America, Prague, Berlin, Portugal and more. As well as attending numerous musical masterclasses and workshops, he has worked alongside artists such as pianist and Maestro Leon Fleisher and cellist Yo-Yo-Ma. Kokomo's Christmas Carol is the perfect course to get everyone excited about Christmas and learn the traditions of Christmas carolling with these timeless songs.
