Course Description

Students enjoy in-depth music lessons on the melodica/melodeon taught with great passion by our music teacher, Nick Bello.

We are now delighted to offer a brand new after-school Melodeon Music Class, specially designed for beginners. Teacher Nick has created a gentle, age-appropriate program to introduce young musicians to their very first instrument in a fun, engaging way.

What Children Will Learn
In this lively weekly class, children will explore:

• How to blow and create sound on the melodeon
• Basic musical notes (A B C D E F G)
• Coordination between blowing and pressing
• Their first full song (such as Twinkle Twinkle Little Star)
• Simple harmony parts for learners ready for an extra challenge

Instruments

Children will borrow school melodeons, take them home to practice, and return them to school every Monday.
