Fantasy Fashion – A Creative Costume Design Class for Ages 4–7

Does your child love dressing up, creating characters, and using their imagination? Fantasy Fashion is a playful 6-week creative class where young designers explore costume design, storytelling, and hands-on making using fun materials and recycled treasures.

In this imaginative studio, children become little fashion designers, creating magical outfits inspired by fantasy worlds, royalty, and the ocean. Each week includes drawing, crafting, and a mini catwalk show where children proudly present their creations.

What Children Will Do

• Design their own fantasy costumes
• Create wearable pieces using safe craft materials
• Build costumes from bin bags, cling film, and recyclables
• Explore themes like royalty and underwater worlds
• Walk the Fantasy Fashion Catwalk and present their designs
• Develop confidence, creativity, and storytelling skills

6-Week Course Journey

Weeks 1 & 2: Recycled Fantasy Fashion
Young designers transform everyday materials into imaginative costumes. Using bin bags, cling film, cardboard, and recycled materials, children create robots, aliens, forest spirits, and other fantasy characters before showcasing them on a recycled fashion runway.

Weeks 3 & 4: Royal Fantasy Fashion
Step into a magical kingdom! Children design and craft costumes for kings, queens, princes, princesses, and magical royalty. They create crowns, capes, royal accessories, and parade their outfits in a royal fashion show.

Weeks 5 & 6: Underwater Fantasy Fashion
Dive into an ocean world of creativity. Children design costumes inspired by mermaids, sea dragons, jellyfish, and ocean royalty, creating flowing sea costumes and accessories before finishing with a magical Underwater Fashion Catwalk.
